 Chardonnay Favorite

Summertime calls for white wine on the deck or by the pool. A crisp, refreshing wine will nicely compliment a Charcuterie Board. Charcuterie is defined as having at least one uncured meat on the board. You can choose one or a few different kinds of meat. Feel free to substitute your favorite fruits, nuts, jams, and type of cracker, but make sure you have Baked Brie as the centerpiece!

Ingredients (as shown here):

Candied uncured bacon, Baked Brie (Round of Brie and crescent roll dough -see recipe below), apples, peaches, raspberries, black berries, assorted nuts, strawberry rhubarb jam, bumbleberry jam, rosemary sea salt crackers.

Recipe:

Preheat oven to 350

Pour the Chardonnay

Slice the top off the Brie

Unroll crescent roll dough or puff pastry dough and lay flat on a parchment paper lined baking sheet

Fold dough over Brie (you can add jam or honey before you fold the pastry over the brie or leave it plain)

While baking the brie for 30 minutes, plate your meat(s), fruits, nuts and crackers

Let brie rest for 10 minutes, then serve and enjoy!
